Back to the Basics: Star Cider
Come learn how to save that favorite piece of clothing!
Learn the basics of hand sewing from a local guide. This class will cover:
How to thread using threading aides
How to sew a button
How to fix a tear
Plus a selection of extremely handy tricks to keep the fabric items in your life in one piece longer
Feel free to bring a damaged item to mend in class or practice on supplied material. Thread, needles, threaders, and cloth to practice on will be supplied!
The type of mending covered will be called “visible mending” which both adds interest and strength to the item.
